TFS 2015 @ Sarasota and Tampa this week

This week I will be doing some traveling across Florida to give talks on TFS 2015 and TFS Build vNext.  It has been a really busy last few months and it will be good to go back out on the road to give these presentations.

First, on Thursday, my good friend Stan Schultes, who runs the SarasotaDev group, invited me to speak down there. They actually meet in Bradenton at Station 2 Innovation, which is a  renovated fire station-turned into a coworking/incubation space. I haven’t seen it yet, so I’m looking forward to that.  I grew up in Bradenton and always enjoy going back there.

I will be giving a talk on TFS Build vNext.  I will show how the new build system works, both with TFS 2015 and Visual Studio Online.  We’ll talk about build agents, templates, cross-platform builds, deployments, and more.  It should be a fun talk and I’m really looking forward to it.

Then, a couple of days later, on Saturday, I will be at Tampa Code Camp.  I have 2 talks:

– What is new in TFS 2015
– TFS Build vNext

This is another of the great community events that we have here in Florida.  I’ve spoken there a few times, including last year.  Greg Leonardo and his crew do a great job putting that together and I’m really happy to see the event back for another year.

So, if you are in the Tampa Bay area and you want to learn about TFS 2015 and the new build system, don’t miss the chance.  There are some great features and this will be a great way for you to learn about them and prepare for them.
