TechEd BOF: Development Methodologies in the Wild: Agile, Continuous Delivery, Scrum and more in the Real World

I am facilitating a Birds of a Feather Session at TechEd this year: Development Methodologies in the Wild: Agile, Continuous Delivery, Scrum and more in the Real World.  The session will be on Tuesday, June 12 from 10:15 – 11:30 am.

Here is the session abstract:

Is your dev team using a development methodology to improve efficiency? Lately it seems like everyone’s implementing the latest development methodology-and whatever new titles and ideas that go along with it. However, alongside these adoption stories you hear tales about broken or half-implemented methodologies. What have you seen succeed? What are some pitfalls of new methodologies and where do they innovate? In this session we’ll discuss various development methodologies, including Continuous Delivery, Scrum, Agile and more-and what may make one successful where others have struggled or failed. Tell your friends and colleagues at home to watch the live broadcast and participate on Twitter using #bofdev

You can learn more about it and the rest of the group (Roberto Hernandez, Alicia Large, Phil Japikse, and David Starr) on the INETA Blog:http://blog.ineta.org/post/TechEd-BOF-Development-Methodologies-in-the-Wild-Agile-Continuous-Delivery-Scrum-and-more-in-the-Real-World.aspx
